Executive Committee

According to Article VI of the FoKAL by-laws, the Executive Committee is to be comprised of representatives of the member of the Membership Council, with membership allocated as follows:

• Up to two directors from the Association of Independent Kentucky Colleges and Universities (AIKCU)
• Up to two directors from the Kentucky Community & Technical College System (KCTCS)
• Up to two directors from the State-Assisted Academic Libraries of Kentucky (SAALCK) public universities
• Up to two directors from Kentucky's non-affliated academic libraries (FIG)

Each member serves a three-year term. Term limit decisions are made by the electing constituency. The chair position rotates through the four membership groups. Other officer positions  include secretary and past-chair. The membership of the Executive Committee selects officers from their own membership by simple majority
